History of Maryborough Services Memorial Bowls Club.
70th Anniversary in 2020

Club formed 4th April 1950 as Services Memorial Bowls Club.

1974 – Club moved to upper floor following 1974 floods.

1984 – Major renovations including moving kitchen.

2009 – No. 2 grass green replaced with synthetic grass.
-
2011 – No. 1 green renovated with new grass.
-
2011 & 2013 – both greens flooded.
-
2020 – No. 2 green replaced with a newer version of the synthetic green.
-
2020 – Club house & Bar rejuvenated with new furniture.
-
2020 – Amalgamation of the Men’s & Ladies Clubs
